Bon Hoffa to stand at Riverdeen

Group One winner Bon Hoffa has been retired and will stand at stud next season.
The Belong To Me-Asian Reef six-year-old was a $60,000 yearling purchase at the 2004 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.

A Ken King Thoroughbreds syndication prepared by Wendy Kelly at Cranbourne, Bon Hoffa raced 23 times for nine wins, three second placings and $710,150 in stake earnings.
He reached the pinnacle of his career with his victory in the 2007 Group One Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield, beating NIconero and Wonderful World.
He also won the Group Three Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) back-to-back at Flemington in 2007 and 2008 as well as being runner-up to Apache Cat in both the 2007 Group Three Carlyon Cup (1400m) at Caulfield and the Group Two Blamey Stakes (1600m) at Sandown.
Bon Hoffa was runner-up to Orange County in the 2008 Rupert Clarke but his form tapered off in two subsequent starts last spring.
A winner from 1200m to 1700m, Bon Hoffa will stand at Dr Kevin Pendergast’s Riverdene Stud at Wagga Wagga.
