Rawiller and McEvoy suspended at Caulfield
Brad Rawiller will appeal a suspension after being one of two jockeys banned for careless riding in the Group Two Zipping Classic.
Rawiller copped a 10-meeting ban while Kerrin McEvoy pleaded guilty to his careless riding charge and was outed for 12 meetings.
McEvoy’s suspension starts straight away while Rawiller’s ban is set to begin after Tuesday but he says he’ll appeal.
The suspensions stemmed from incidents passing the winning post the first time in the Zipping Classic with Rawiller riding eventual runner-up Epingle and McEvoy on Kazanluk.
McEvoy can return to riding on November 28.
