Prebble’s first winner came from the race 5 favourite, a 4 year old English gelding, Classic Energy, by Daylami out of a Kris mare, Divine Quest.

Trained by local trainer, Ricky Yiu, this was Classic Energy’s maiden win from his 12 starts in Hong Kong.

In a copy book ride, Prebble sat back in the early stages of the race. Starting to make his move on the bend, he swiftly charged forward and claimed the lead over the final 400m to beat Wong’s Success by 1.5 lengths.

Prebble’s third win came from the race favourite, Special K, a Bianconi gelding out of Oregon Seal by Oregon. This was his first win from 4 starts in Hong Kong, and was previously raced by Peter Moody as Biaseal in Australia.
