Mounting Yard Mail - Huntly in white-hot form

david_hayesMelbourne mounting yard guru Warren Huntly recorded another exceptional winning day at Flemington on Saturday.

Huntly worked alongside Glenn Pollett throughout the spring carnival and since taking control of the Melbourne service, has provided the vital last-minute information with great-priced winners.

In that time, he has won at more than 70 percent of meetings covered, including Saturday which saw suggested bets Zauberin ($14), Grand Duels ($7) winning and confidently tipping Gail ($3.90) and King Diamond ($3).

In Zauberin’s race, he advised backing it and Winged Charm, which provided the quinella, paying more than $40.

This adds to a stack of recent Huntly winners, highlighted by Danzylum ($10), Utah Saints ($15) and Winged Charm ($11).

“Working with Glenn through the carnival has honed my skills and, thankfully, the benefit of his theories has shown through in the results,” Huntly modestly said.

With Huntly on fire of late, he approaches a period in Melbourne that the pre-race parade is critical, starting with Blue Diamond Preview day at Caulfield on Wednesday.

“We are now getting into what looks to be a great carnival with all the good horses scheduled to return in the coming weeks,” Huntly said.
