More Joyous has Perfect Vision of the Slipper

More Joyous reaffirmed her position as Golden Slipper favourite with a brilliant win in the Perfect Vision iLasik Stakes on Saturday.


Darren Beadman2 The win ensured her place in the field for the world’s richest race for two-year-olds; after her buckjumping display in the Silver Slipper, More Joyous was forced to race in the Riesling to qualify for the Slipper.
She was briefly dethroned as Slipper favourite by Real Saga who won Saturday’s Todman Stakes in emphatic style but regained the edge after she beat Melito.
Both Real Saga and More Joyous were ridden by Darren Beadman who flew in from Hong Kong on Friday.
Beadman is committed to More Joyous in the $3.5 million Golden Slipper on April 4 and will ride Tuesday Joy for the filly’s owner John Singleton in Dubai next weekend.
