Fallon lands first feature win since return

Kieren Fallon has posted his first Group win since returning from a drug ban with victory aboard Strike The Deal at Newbury.

The six-time British champion jockey rode a confident race aboard the Jeremy Noseda-trained four-year-old to win the Group Three Dubai Duty FreeWorld Trophy (1000m) on Saturday.
Fallon allowed his mount to find his feet early and finish powerfully to defeat Total Gallery with JJ The Jet Plane third.
The win was Fallon’s 17th success of the season.
Fallon spent 18 months on the sidelines after testing positive to cocaine during a race meeting at Deauville in France in August 2007.
He was reissued with a jockey’s licence by the British Horseracing Authority earlier this month.
