Begg to get the Silent treatment at Flemington

All Silent - Horse_2Trainer Grahame Begg will make a hit-and-run visit to Melbourne this week to watch stable star All Silent work at Flemington.

The dual Group One winner is being readied for a first-up tilt at the Group One Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on March 6.
“I’m very happy with him and he will trial at Cranbourne next Monday,” Begg said.
“I’m actually going down to watch him work on Wednesday morning at Flemington.
“Nick Hall will ride him.”
All Silent has not raced since finishing eighth to champion sprinter Sacred Kingdom in the Hong Kong International Sprint in December when he got back to near last and had trouble finding clear galloping room in the straight.
Prior to that he was a scintillating winner of the Group One Patinack Farm Classic at Flemington, over the Newmarket course and distance.
The six-year-old is the equal $5 favourite for next month’s Group One with TAB Sportsbet.
He shares top billing with the Peter Moody-trained Black Caviar who will attempt to maintain her unbeaten record in the William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on Saturday when she steps up to Group One company for the first time.
