Amelia's Dream in light work

Injury-plagued filly Amelia’s Dream is back in pre-training after missing the autumn.

Amelia’s Dream’s domination of the 2008 Silver Slipper was marred just hours later when she was found to have a fractured sesamoid.
The filly spent three months at the Randwick Equine Centre and several more recuperating at Muskoka Farm north west of Sydney.
She returned to Gai Waterhouse’s stable to be prepare for an autumn campaign but that was abandoned in February when she pulled up sore after trackwork and was found to have a slight injury to a hind hock.
After a three-month rest, Amelia’s Dream is now back at Muskoka where she is progressing well.
“Amelia looks fantastic. She has definitely grown and strengthened and is happy and well,” Muskoka’s Wendy Lapointe said on Waterhouse’s website.
