Caviar in Brisbane
Champion racemare Black Caviar has arrived in Brisbane ahead of the Queensland legs of her campaign.
It is believed trainer Peter Moody’s star mare arrived at Eagle Farm, where she is stabled, on Sunday.
From all reports, the mare has settled in well and will do a solid piece of work on Saturday.
Black Caviar’s first Queensland assignment is Saturday week’s Group I BTC Cup (1200m) at Doomben where she is expected to guarantee a “full house” for her clash with Group I All Aged Stakes winner Hay List.
Black Caviar is then programmed to have a second Brisbane start two weeks later in the Group I Doomben 10000 (1350m) which will be the mare’s first start past 1200 metres.
Black Caviar arrives in Queensland unbeaten from her 13 starts.
