Barbara Joseph suspended
Successful trainer Barbara Joseph has been suspended after a long-running positive swab inquiry.
Racing NSW stewards banned Joseph for two months after she pleaded guilty to three charges during a hearing into a positive sample taken from Follow The Command.
Follow The Command tested positive to Aminocaproic acid after winning at Wagga Wagga in August 2009.
Joseph, who was also fined $1000, has appealed and applied for a stay of proceedings, a Racing NSW statement says.
Joseph operates stables at Bombala and Canberra and employs 16 staff.
She has been training in partnership with her son Paul Jones since the start of the Australian racing season in August.
